Hey everyone just a quick update. Wow what an amazing day.

This morning (Sunday) we had church service and then some of us went out along the rugged mountain and visited people. That was simply amazing. We were gone about a good few hrs. We actually went with several Haitians as well. PTL we had no rain tonight. The first night.

It was a blessing as we could just sing praises to God in the dark with Haitians as well. To sum up the day it was a blessing all around and to see what God will do after we leave here.

Just continue to pray as we have one more morning of VBS and pack up. As for myself and the rest of the team, we thank you for the prayers and support.

Update from Angel: They had a sucessful day (Saturday) at VBS. They saw over 200 children and fed all the children, their parents that were there, and all the workers. Some of the interpreters walked over 3 hours one way to assist without eating. So they were fed by our team.

Last night was very hard and the weather has been hard on the team physically. Lots of wet gear and tents. But they all are laughing and joking around and seem to be holding up great. No one has gotten sick.

God has been amazing in all that He has provided and with his protection and even more so in the opportunities that they have been provided to minister to and care of the Haitian people.

They are all looking forward to tomorrow (Sunday) and spending a day in church with the people of the village.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers for the weather.

The medical clinic was a success yesterday (Friday). It is a blessing we got done a little earlier than normal. During the day we had a wind rain storm and the tents collapsed with water in them. The people here are a blessing as to helping us get everything under control.

That same night another huge storm came through and some of our guys and their people were up holding the tents down so they would not blow away. We did have some tents still collapse and get water in them. So instead of in tents about 30 people all camp out in the church.

This morning (Saturday) we woke up to sunny weather again and rebuilt and cleaned the tents. Everything is back in place, and we are about ready to start the VBS. So, please continue to pray for everyone down here. Everyone is healthy. Take care.

The first day of clinic (Thursday) went fantastic. At one point, there were hundreds of people in line, they had hoped to see 90, and saw 228.

Also, they built three benches. They are building table benches that are of use not only for the church but also for the school. They hope the have the rest of them built tomorrow (Friday) and then work to repair some sheds in the village.

God has been so wonderful with the weather, it's been cloudy with brief
showers at times.

Thursday, July 29.

We finished our first medical clinic. We saw approx. 200 or a little over today. It ran real smoothly. It rained as well so it is cool now. Keep the prayers coming.

[On Wednesday,] they woke up early and headed up the long hike to the village. They arrived about 9:30 local time. The morning was spent setting up camp and getting aquainted with the local village. The afternoon was spent sorting out medicines and setting up for the medical clinic which begins today (Thursday)!
