AWANA

awana-logo1

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

That’s the heartbeat of our  AWANA ministry. If you are new to Awana take time to discover what Awana is about. We help churches and parents work together to raise spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. We offer weekly programs for ages 5 to 18 that are tailored to each age group and grow kids spiritually right where they are.

When does AWANA meet?

Wednesday (6:30-7:45PM) during the school months (August-May)

Who can come?

This ministry is for children from K to 6th grade.

  • If she’s in early elementary school, look into our Sparks club.
  • If she’s between third and sixth grade, she would attend T&T.
  • Our FUEL program is for teenagers in seventh through twelfth grade.

What can your children expect?

The children learn Word of God, memorize the Word, learn new songs, the play exciting games and earn awards for their hard work.

Can you volunteer?

You bet! Since this ministry is so large it is in constant need of people who have a heart for children. Contact the church office at church@bgbc.org
